Job Description : Works to promote the market town of Malton focusing on the 'Malton Food Lovers Festival' - 21st to 22nd May

Tell me about the Festival? "It's a two day celebration of the finest produce that North Yorkshire has to offer. There will be around 100 producers stalls, 2 Cookery Theatres and a Beer and Wine Festival throughout the weekend. Malton is fast becoming one of Yorkshires top foodie destinations and with two days to recognise this, it's sure to be a superb weekend."

What will the producers be selling? "We have everything from artisan bakers to organic butchers, local honey to amazingly fresh fish, shellfish and much more.

How many people are you expecting? This is the festivals 4th year and the most important change is that it will run for 2 days this time round - on the Saturday and the Sunday. We are hoping to attract around 10,000 food loving visitors."

Tell me about the Cookery Theatres? "We have a host of fantastic chefs who will be cooking live on stage including well known Rosemary Shrager (Ladette to Lady), Andrew Pern from The Star Inn at Harome and famous food writer Tom Parker-Bowles who we are very excited about welcoming as a new Patron to the festival. They will all be signing their latest cookbooks throughout the day."
